WRITER, SPEAKER & MINISTRY COACH: My husband, Phil, and I are passionate about helping people come more fully alive in their faith, 365-days-a-year, not just on Sundays. That’s why we founded Faith Alive 365, a web-based ministry through which we create small group resources, inspirational books, and all-church spiritual campaigns; we also provide coaching, one-on-one spiritual direction, and spiritual growth events for individuals and churches.
PASTOR: As ordained pastors in the Evangelical Covenant denomination, we served as the founding Co-pastors of Journey Church in Wichita, Kansas, and later as Co-pastors of Adult Ministries at Bayside West Community Church in Roseville, California.
UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR: Throughout my years in ministry, I’ve also provided Christ-centered education as an adjunct faculty member at Friends University, Tabor College, Mid-America Bible College, and William Jessup University. I’ve taught courses in Bible, Theology, Business Communication, Leadership, Philosophy and Ethics. I also serve as the Adjunct Faculty Liaison and special projects coordinator for WJU’s School of Professional Studies.
SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR: I serve as a Spiritual Director through the Evangelical Covenant denomination. In this role, I work with ministry leaders seeking to grow deeper in their awareness of God and his movement in their lives, in a safe and confidential setting.
RETREAT SPEAKER: I’ve had the privilege to serve as a frequent keynote speaker and seminar leader at women’s retreats and special events, in addition to leading marriage retreats and seminars with my husband. I also design and lead contemplative prayer retreats.
